Jonathan Stephen Baker is a musician/programmer/producer currently based around the sunny shores of Brighton. He has been playing drums and performing since the age of eleven, and created his first electronic beats at the age of 12, using the unstoppable creative force that is Dance eJay. A few more years and garage punk bands later, he took his first steps towards a career in music technology; by doing a music technology course at Farnborough College. Here he discovered Cubase SX, and saw that it was good.
After many years of tinkering around with strange electronic noises and obscure time signatures, he discovered the BSc Music Informatics course at Sussex University. It was this course that helped him develop his object-orientated programming skills and focus them towards the audio/gaming sector. After three years of study he left Sussex with a first class honours degree and a large smile on his face.
Currently he is developing his own software, covering areas such as audio analysis and manipulation, and generative composition (see the downloads section). He is also working towards his first contribution to the iPhone app store, with the game Ants Vs Worms coming soon.
